Hide and seek gives break from lockdown learning
Posted: 11th February 2021Children used a traditional game of hide and seek to give them a break from lockdown learning.
Children of key worker parents still attending Freshwater Primary Academy during the partial school closures have been working with resident artist and high-level teaching assistant Karen Hopps.
Pebbles, painted to depict various characters from stories and book, were hidden around the school grounds.
Working in their bubbles, pupils enjoyed getting some fresh air while they played hide and seek with the pebbles during their lunch and break times.
Teacher Broganne Gilmore said: “The children benefited from being outside and from having something different to enjoy during their breaks.
“The children loved it!”
