Freshwaters' athlete jumps to new heights!

On Saturday 18th March 2017 Shannon Waterman (Year 6) competed at the British Schools Gymnastics Association’s Trampolining national finals. To earn her place in the finals, held in Gateshead Northumbria, Shannon competed and finished first in two qualifying events. Following two routines Shannon was award first place in the finals, crowning her Schools National Champion for Freshwaters.
The following day saw Cambridge host the East Region National Development Plan’s Regional Semi-finals. This was a qualifying event for the regional team finals. Shannon achieved 1st place at this event, securing a place in the East Region’s team for the regional team finals due to take place at the Barclay Card Arena in Birmingham.
