I had the privilege of joining Freshwaters Academy in May 2018 as a 1:1 S.E.N Co-educator in Key Stage 2, a role that I love.

Previously I have worked in a local Pre-school as a Pre-school Assistant where the emphasis was on learning through play. After a break, when I took time off to bring up my youngest daughter, I went back to work as a Mid-day Assistant and Exam Invigilator at Passmores Academy. I then worked at Longwood Academy for four years providing 1:1 support to a child with challenging behaviour. 

The rewards that my role brings far out way any of the challenges. To guide a child through any difficulties they face and help them get the very best from their school life, is the best job in the world!

I have been married since 1984 and have three wonderful grown up children. My passions include motorcycle racing, especially attending races around the world, and watching football. I enjoy live music attending concerts of a variety of artists whenever I can. I love going to the theatre to see musicals,my favourite one is Hamilton which I have seen 7 times with my daughters!
